One of the VoiceThreads I saw today was Seasonal Stories by a first grade class in Arlington. It was a simple activity where the children drew about what they like to do in the spring. They then wrote about their drawing and narrated their story over their drawing. This would be something I could do in my 1st grade class room because the children can express creativity through their drawing and still practice writing, reading, and fluency.
Another VoiceThread I liked was Exploring Bodies of Water. I like how the class was divided into groups and had certain tasks. They had to brainstorm and work together to come up with their final answer for publication by audio or text recording.
